Cruise Weddings

If you are arriving on a cruise ship just for the day to get married, here are the procedures for cruise ship weddings:

  • St. Lucia
  • Jamaica
  • Antigua
  • Nevis
  • St. Kitts
  • St. Maarten
THE DAY THE SHIP ARRIVES IN PORT
  • Wedding Planner will meet the couple at the gangway with couple’s name on a sign. The couple will be taken to the Attorney's office where the couple will apply for the marriage license.

  • After the licence application which usually lasts no more than 1 hour, the couple is taken back to the ship.

  • At the scheduled pick up time for ceremony, the couple along with their guests will be picked up by our coordinator and taken to the ceremony site. The Marriage Officer will be at the site awaiting the couple's arrival.

  • The ceremony will begin and will be conducted by a Marriage officer.

  • Duration of ceremony is normally 20 mins with time afterwards for those memorable photos.

  • After the ceremony, couple along with their guests are taken back to the ship.

  • Wedding Planner will meet the couple at the gangway with couple’s name on a sign. The coordinator will escort the couple to their wedding venue.

  • The ceremony will begin and will be conducted by a Marriage officer.

  • Duration of ceremony is normally 20 mins with time afterwards for those memorable photos.

  • After the ceremony, couple along with their guests are taken back to the ship.
Marriage Licences are pre-approved before couple arrives on island and ceremonies can start from 9am-6pm for cruise clients

  • Wedding Planner will meet the couple at the gangway with couple’s name on a sign. The couple will be taken to the Ministry of Justice where the couple will apply for the marriage license.

  • After the licence application which usually lasts no more than 1 hour, the couple is taken back to the ship.

  • At the scheduled pick up time for ceremony, the couple along with their guests will be picked up by our coordinator and taken to the ceremony site. The Marriage Officer will be at the site awaiting the couple's arrival.

  • The ceremony will begin and will be conducted by a Marriage officer.

  • After the ceremony, couple along with their guests are taken back to the ship.
Ceremonies start from 12noon-6pm for cruise clients
THE DAY THE SHIP ARRIVES IN PORT
  • Wedding Planner will meet the couple at the gangway with a No Frills Wedding sign. The couple will be taken to the Ministry of Legal Affairs where the couple will apply for the marriage license.

  • After the licence application which usually lasts no more than 1 hour, the couple is taken back to the ship.

  • At the scheduled time up time as agreed beforehand with the couple, they along with their guests will be picked up by our coordinator and taken to the ceremony site. The Marriage Officer will be at the site awaiting the couple's arrival.

  • The ceremony will begin and a wedding song/march will be played upon the couple's arrival. The couple has a choice if they wish to recite their own vows. (Notice must be given to marriage officer in advance)

  • After the ceremony time (usually 20 minutes) is allotted for photos, toasting etc. if this was included in package.

  • The couple is taken back to the ship.
